And as expected it is a DB7 in a DB9's body. Good news for those with a little money, its current price is expected to be about £50,000.

i dont like the front of it, looks too much like a hyundei coupe for my liking..which is fine on a 12k car, but not a 60k one...

well they had to do something differant to it, or else Aston Martin might have been slightly ticked off:) the headlights are the biggest problem really.

http://www.fast-autos.net/jaguar/jaguarxk.html

i like the basic shape, but don't like much else about the design

looks like it was taken from the "light weight" concept, although it doesn't look like it is going to be light weight at all. the estimated 3500 lbs sounds very conservative to me (even with all of the aluminum). It looks bigger and way more luxurious than the last one, and they are telling me that they cut over 600 lbs out. . .doubt it.

that being said, i think it will be a good replacement to the current car, and the i will be looking out for the xkr convertable.

thats because it is the lightweight concept. Thanks for the link, i couldn't really find anything new on it. The one thing i really think needs changing other than the headlights, is getting rid of the XK badge on the front grill, it looks horribly cheap.
I must admit, this is one of those cars, owners will be able to point and laugh at recent 911 buyers with. Especially the convertable:)

i don't know about that, i have driven an old xk8 and several 911's, and it isn't even close. aston's aren't really that close performance wise either.
