hello all! Wink
just got my new machine, p4 3.0ghz HT, 1gb ddr-2 400 ram, 250gb serial ATA HD, ati radeon x300 128mb, etc...

i installed my copy of fs2002 and the graphics and gameplay are awesome,  but the sound leaves a lot to be desired! , the soundcard is a sigmatel audio integrated soundcard.

with hardware accel. up full, the engine sounds do not blend smoothly, instead going through different levels as the power in increases, and the atc voices and the gear and flap sounds, are broken and scratchy., the engine sounds work correctly when i turn off hardware acceleration but the problem with the other sounds still persists.

any ideas as to what the problem might be?

thanks,
john.

An x300 isn't that powerful. You'd have to run fs2004 with lower details and lower resolutions. Keep in mind the x300 is a budget card, like the nvidia 6200.
