Hello All...!
The week-end visit to my local Airfield, Shobdon, (EGBS), for our Annual Air Race.
Popped up on my trusty Tiger Moth Motor-bike...(18 miles).
Fantastic weather, large crowd of enthusiasts, chance to meet the race pilots and admire their gorgous machines!
I had a FAB 2 days...got seriously cooked in the brilliant sunshine!

Here are just a few pics of the zillions I took at the time, (as you do!).
I'll post a few more of the best, and un-usual, in the next thread...(usual limits on size)...!

This is always a handicap race, and you will notice by the race results that the winning combination is the skill of the pilot with his particular machine..!
Even tho' it is a staggered start, there are only seconds between them at the end...!!
It's not always the biggest and fastest machine that wins!

Hi Fozz! That's something i've never been too, looks like a great time. Thanks for sharing it. It must be a coincidence that there's a cute red head in the center of shot #3. Just how old did you say she was? Wink
