Hey all,
I got a very big surprise yesterday morning...the new PMDG 747!! My dad bought it while I was asleep...I was so excited. Couldn't fly it because my dad was using the comp. This morning though, he left for work and I got my chance!!

May i ask, is the 747 PMDG bad on framerates, because i think the 737 600/700 is bad on MY system, so whats it like compared.
Many thanks

Well I don't know about you system...mind posting your specs? With my specs (see below) and everything in FS9 maxed out I got 25FPS with this bird. I was in Schipol this time and the scenery was pretty dense. If I was flying someplace else like over mountains or something, it wouldn't have been that bad. Max FPS I got with FS9 and everything maxed out in the the mountains was 73FPS.
Cheers,
Ashar

I've said this on another forum as well...

I am sold and I have decided to turn my paycheck directly to PMDG!

She is the Queen allright!! No doubts about that thanks to PMDG =)

I hardly know how to fly their 737-700... so much to learn... can't wait to fiddle around with this beautiful bird as well...

ps, thanks for showing me where the manuals are ;P

Hi there everyone, great shots. Love the PMDG queen of the skies.. the systems are very well modelled.
and its one of the paywares that does have much impact on frame rates. runs very smoothly. 8)
