Aircraft Editor Problem (Read 338 times)

When i start aircraft editor, which is what i use because i don't have the winzip as shown on the help, i go to file, open, then it comes up with the microsoft has discovered a problem and asks to send to them but then it says that the instruction at "0x6c371351" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be read. i need help

I assume you're using the Aircraft Editor to install aircraft. In this case you have to unzip the downloaded file first. WinXP has it's own unzipper utility. Unless you're still using Win98Hagar you don't need WinZip.

FSEdit was never the most reliable piece of software & that's an understatement. The best way would be to learn how to install aircraft manually. http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm

If that doesn't suit you try one of the 3rd party FS Install Manager utilities posted on this site. I've never used them myself but I understand that some work very well.

There's plenty to choose from. Look in the Utilities section or do a search for FS Manager. I can't recommend one because I've never used them myself.
