Well here i was in Manchester EGCC add-on, and i came accross these gate like things, i always see them in real life whilst at Manchester on the Aircraft.
Can anyone help me out and direct me to as what they are.

Blast screens ......... they deflect the jet blast from the engines so that they don't damage anything in the area behind.

Aaah ok.

Why are they there? For testing engines on Aircraft?

Would be used for general runup and to prevent some noise from bothering the surrounding community.

After all noise is the biggest disadvantage an airport has on any community.. Wink
