Osama,

First of all... welcome to SimV.

Sorry... but I moved this here...... it is more likely to get you help than having it in the "Homebuilt Cockpits" forum.  That forum section is more devoted to building simulated "real" cockpits you can sit in.  Wink

I'm sure the talented folks that frequent the SimV site will have your issues straightened out shortly.

Welcome again.

best,

When you download gauges they should come with a read me text file. with some information that is needed to be known to install gauges. In this file it might have  something in it that looks like this:

WindowXX=Radio/CD Player

[WindowXX]
size_mm=300,93
position=2
visible=1
ident=60
sizeable=1
window_size= 0.293, 0.121
window_pos= 0.707, 0.000

gauge00=radiocd4!radiocd, 0, 0, 300

Now what you do with that is you go to your main FS2004 folder and you find the "Aircraft" folder. Click on the "Aircraft" folder to go in to your fs2004 aircraft directory. Then you click on the aircraft's folder that you want to install this gauge to(Ex. b747_400). If it were the 747 you would go in that folder & click on the Panel folder. Now you need to click on the file "panel.cfg" useing "notepad". Now look at the top of the panel.cfg document and u should see something like this:

// Panel Configuration File
// Boeing 747-400
// Copyright (c) 1999-2003 Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

[Window Titles]
Window00=Main Panel
window01=Radio Stack
Window02=GPS
window03=Throttle Quadrant
window04=Overhead Panel
window05=Clock
window06=Mini Panel
                          <<<<<<<This is where you would put
WindowXX=Radio/CD Player

You change the XX to the next corresponding number which would be:

Window07=Radio/CD Player

Now you need to scroll down and you will see something like this:

[Window00]
file=747_Background_640.bmp
file_1024=747_Background_1024.bmp

                 <<<<<<<< This is where you would put
[WindowXX]
size_mm=300,93
position=2
visible=1
ident=60
sizeable=1
window_size= 0.293, 0.121
window_pos= 0.707, 0.000

gauge00=radiocd4!radiocd, 0, 0, 300

Just like above, you change the [WindowXX] to the next corresponding number which is
[Window07]

Also in the zip file that you downloaded, came a file like this:
RKG_fuelstat_d.gau
You need to place this file into the main fs9 gauges folder.

This is just how you install gauges to a Prexsisting cockpit.

I have the "Airport's Chart Viewer" and "msp3", but dont know what file to install it to

Well first you go to where ever you stored Airport's Chart viewer at. Then you start the Airport's Chart Viewer setup program and you install it to this directory:
C:\Program Files\Airport Charts Viewer

Once you finish installing Airport's Chart Viewer, you go to where ever you stored the Manual Service Pack at. Then you run the "Manuel Database Creator v1.0.exe" setup program. A dialog box should appear on your screen asking you to select what program you need to install database files to. So click on
"Airport's Chart Viewer v5.0"

Now it will ask you "Enter Manual's Program Main Directory" Which would be the directory that you installed Airport's Chart Viewer. Which would be
C:\Program Files\Airport Charts Viewer\MODULES

So type that in that directory field & click ok. Now it is going to ask you to enter the directory path to the main Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 folder
(ex. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\fs9)

Now click ok. Now you should be at the Database creator dialog box. Now all you have to do is just click the
"Create Databases Files"
button and the program will do the rest.
