I spent some time trying to get the best out of the new Flight Environment and I think I have found the right settings for my sim.
Tell me what you think

Download the update from the Flight1 site... It's free for existing users ...... just make sure you have your KEY.

AS you have been alred y told, you can download the update and also go through the forums and find the FE settings that will increase the performance of the product.

I have been testing the dx3 clouds but I really don't like them so I switched to the 32 bit onesa dn messed around with my weather settings both in the FE program and in the fs9 Wink

Thanks! =)

I noticed something  Undecided you didn't download the circular sun glare textures. You are still using the default octagon ones!  Grin

Other then that those are some awesome screenies! love the transistion of night sky with the sunset!

Actually, what MS calls "Lens flare" are in reality, what is known as  "aperture reflections" created by the octagon shape of a camera's  telephoto lens, multiple apertures.
So, an  octagon shape is more correct.

BTW, I always have this turned off as I want to simulate what the human eye would see, not reproduce the flaws of a camera shot. Wink
