This was my First crash in my hole life BTW my truck is an old wagooneer Pick up 1983 model, the hand brake or emergency brakes, they have been out of service  Grin(broke wire)since 1994

It's obviously an automatic. A manual is impossible to drive without a serviceable handbrake.

That's the British word for it. Rather descriptive don't you think? They're all made of plastic these days.
Used be called a fender in the US. Not the guitar.

It seemed apt to name the bumpers such because, if you aim properly, that's what you initially bump into things with Embarrassed ... if... Embarrassed
The corner sections are fenders: left & right front and left and right rear. You are correct, they aren't Fender[brand] guitars but they sometimes do get strung out. Of course, they're not drums, either, but they even more often get banged. ???
