That Flight one Environment looks cool!

So is it worth purchasing that Add-on?

Whats it like on the frame rates.

Good points/bad points.

Many thanks

James

People who own it usually say it's got no effect whatsoever on FPS...I wouldn't care because my card fetchs me high FPS... Smiley

My frame rates definately slowed down a little. I have mine running with Activesky 4.5 and the results are stunning. Some of the water textures are just so-so but some are truly spectacular.

Great shots Hanger!

If you amximize the effects and textures for FE you will get some fps loss, but you can work your settings out for your type of machine.

Believe or not those pics where taken with the lesser quality of clouds and effects! so it hardly took any fps away.... later this evening I am going to slide some settings up and see how it works...

and man do I love the FE randomizer!!!!!

note: the lights where on on the last one... dunno why they didn't render out. I will check on that later.
That is the freeware 732 advanced that I got here with Ultimate Terrain USA, ASV , fs Waters and FE running... considering the high cloud coverage I was getting 17 fps, which is fine on my machine.

In the first picture Flight 1 Cessna Skylane ASV and the incredible FE Wink around 25 to 30 fps at that time

Hiya Century.
Have a look here to my latest shots. Part 2 can also be reached thru that link. For other shots, see here.
Just so you know, I am still in the process of tweaking FS9.   The results are becoming better each day...
Cheers,
Ashar
