Just got CFS3... Very hard, compared to what I thought it would be....

but anyway... When I am in any MSFS game, including FS2004, and CFS3, there is a flickering of the lower half of the screen... it seems like a very sever case of screen tearing, but I have vertical sync on.

I have my GeForce 5700LE overclocked, and when I clock it down to defualt speeds, it goes away, however the game is unplayable because I would get substancially lower FPS. In other games (Halo, Far Cry, Half Life 2, etc) I have no problems at all... No glitches, or artifacts.

I have core freq at 390MHz (defualt 250MHz), and Memory freq at 460MHz (defualt 400MHz) Doesnt overheat, even when repeatly playing 3DMark2003

other system specs are below in my avatar. Thanks

I am somwhere I don't know where I am!!!&&

Best advice is to reduce overclocking until the flickering dissappears.
BTW, you should be able to run both games pretty much maxed out with your system specs without significant loss in performance.
My guess is that there's also something else with your machine, maybe you're running too many services in the background, old directx version or outdated mobo drivers?
