I was just watching a video and when the pilot was selecting a SID he selected the SOPO1L dep.

There was nothing strange about that but when I saw the other choices they were very similar SOPO2C,SOPO2F and SPI1C

Can anyone explain why 3 of these SIDs were the same name just different lettering/numbers?  Was one used in certain weather situations?

In europe SIDs and STARs are runway specific so SOPO2C means the SOPO departure, Version 2, and C = runway 36 (not sure about the runway it actually denotes)
