Ok, there are a few things I want to ask here.
I looked all over the internet for an answer but I couldn't find one.
I would like to know details on what happened at Stade airfeild near the Hamburg area, apart from nachtjägers (nightfighters) were stationed there.
Even any detail on what plane types where stationed there. All detail is welcome.
Or you can just start a discussion on the German night fighter force which I find fascinating as I have that sick twisted mind that has something about the grim night hunting in an evil-looking aircraft.

Try a search on Google. I found this which suggests that Stade is still in use.

We get the order to move from our home base of Twente [Holland] to Wittmundhaven, a night-fighter airfield near the coast. This is necessary to intercept the bombers.

That chip on your shoulder is showing again Bjorn.
Most nightfighters look sinister. Creatures of the night & all that. Maybe more so in the case of the German ones mainly because of the camo & Radar arrays.

I tend to agree, German nightfighters from that era were pretty sinister looking. I am quite fascinated with all of those old German planes, especially the early jets. At one time I had a whole collection of jets from WWII for FS... before my hard drive died.

I may be wrong, (only going off the name and location) but it sounds like an airfield that is a sub-project of Aden Airays.

Thanks Igorski! Stade was not much to do with Schleswig, but Schleswig was a nachtjager airfeild near a big German industrial city (Keil I think?). I'll check out that scenery.
Pardon me but I clicked on the link to Schleswig Wartime and I think I've seen it somewhere...?
Thanks anyway.

After having your plane half-blasted out of the air, I imagine your hands would be shaky -- of course, I'm not sure you'll be any steadier after emptying that barrel even though you may think so.
The former assumes that Bjon share in emptying the contents in the normal way and not clobber somebody with the barrels as they were about to do to him with bombs

Yes, after they were nearly shot off by an 88mm flak shell!

The Hawker Hurricane couldn't carry rockets and bombs in the original CFS1 format -- but mine can 8) (12 rockets and 4 bombs
)! Still flies well with a full load -- maybe I should add more?

I thought better of the reponse I started -- seemed too "terroristic" -- but I may really have to cheat in the .air file to get it off the ground, let alone fly it like a fighter-bomber

My model-making skills are low, but I think I could make a model of a large-winged monster plane. It will need to be converted to CFS2 (or whatever you use) and You can chuck like 20 rockets under each wing, 4 bombs under the fuselage and 4 torpedoes under the fuselage. Lol!!!!! I must see how it flies (and fights
).

Put some of that arsenal in the rear: when they come up behind me I can shoot them out of the sky and become rocket propelled at the same time. 8)
I've pretty much stuck with CFS1 (though I've got the CFS2 disks -- and was so disappointed with CFS3 that I immediatelty uninstalled it -- somewhere around). If you'd noticed in a few of my posts, I've been working on WWI for CFS1. I never did get a Plane Builder so I have to rely on editing & retexturing what someone else has provided. Still haven't found an RE8 so I'll probably stick with edited substitutes when I upload.
To get back on track, I can edit the files but I try to stay somewhere close to original performance: the Hurricane actually was a fairly good weapons platform to begin with. I've also been able to land the stock version on an aircraft carrier without much trouble (and no arrestor).

One day I might as well do an utterly crazy DP of some plane. 20 guns in front, 20 in the rear, crazy
10 rockets under each wing. 4 of those 2000 pounders and two torpedoes! How's that?

What I meant is an Fw190A8 that goes into a formation of B17s and press L on the keyboard and kaboom you go down with a nice few B17s. Horrible
but good for CFS2
In FS2002 Stade is just a concrete strip with nothing but grass around it. Wittmundhafen and Gilze Rijen especialy are more than that though 8)

Then it wouldn't be a "hand" grenade (aside from grenade launchers -- of which, a standard one still wouldn't send it far enough). It's strictly an intended joke, anyway.

Ok found some more info:
Stade mostly based Bf110s and Do217s.
When the Ta154 Moskito came out it flew for a brief time at Stade.
