Ok, there are a few things I want to ask here.
I looked all over the internet for an answer but I couldn't find one.
I would like to know details on what happened at Stade airfeild near the Hamburg area, apart from nachtjägers (nightfighters) were stationed there.
Even any detail on what plane types where stationed there. All detail is welcome.
Or you can just start a discussion on the German night fighter force which I find fascinating as I have that sick twisted mind that has something about the grim night hunting in an evil-looking aircraft.

Try a search on Google. I found this which suggests that Stade is still in use.

FRIENDLY FIRE
"It is February 13, 1944. The controller at Divisional Operation Theater at Stade [Higher Command, 60 miles west of Hamburg] who is following the bomber stream along the North Sea over Holland and the Frisian Islands expects air raids against northern German cities or Berlin. We get the order to move from our home base of Twente [Holland] to Wittmundhaven, a night-fighter airfield near the coast. This is necessary to intercept the bombers.

That chip on your shoulder is showing again Bjorn.
Most nightfighters look sinister. Creatures of the night & all that. Maybe more so in the case of the German ones mainly because of the camo & Radar arrays.

I tend to agree, German nightfighters from that era were pretty sinister looking. I am quite fascinated with all of those old German planes, especially the early jets. At one time I had a whole collection of jets from WWII for FS... before my hard drive died.

Actually it's a morbid, sick twisted fascination for sinister looking aircraft.

I may be wrong, (only going off the name and location) but it sounds like an airfield that is a sub-project of Aden Airays.

I stand by my opinion Bjorn. Read the whole thing:

Thanks Igorski! Stade was not much to do with Schleswig, but Schleswig was a nachtjager airfeild near a big German industrial city (Keil I think?). I'll check out that scenery.
Pardon me but I clicked on the link to Schleswig Wartime and I think I've seen it somewhere...?
Thanks anyway.
