Does anyone know a way to set gMax so the grid is off when you fire it up for a new project? It get's pretty annoying having to turn it off every time.

Adjust all your settings (turn off grid or whatever else you
want to be customized) and save a scene (to the gmax/scenes/ dir) called gmaxstart.gmax This is a default scene and will load automatically on startup with all your settings !

btw. if you start gmax with the FS2004 icon. the gmaxstart.gmax needs to be placed in
/gmax/gamepacks/FS2004/scenes/
