oh yeah and weather... i havnt viewed a METAR outside of a training scenario or airline interview. so we speaker phone the flight service station for a standard briefing and if it makes sence to the guy and he makes a good "go/ no go" decision as far as im concerned weather info is done with at that point!

...and you have to learn a new set for each aircraft you fly in! Having said that, there are only 3 that I use in my current type, and they are only used in cruise, or when commencing a descent...

As has been already demonstrated, I've been very, very tongue-tied these past few posts Roll Eyes Tongue

I recently did a cross country, LOM-CXY-AVP-ABE-LOM, so I keep getting AVP and ABE mixed up Roll Eyes
