New Environment Texture behaviour ? (Read 143 times)

Hi there,

I´m currently experimenting with selfmade environment textures. But ´m not quite shure when a certain texture
is rendered in flightsim. For example I have the textures
sky_afternoon_0.bmp - *9.bmp. This means I have 9 different textures for afternoon environments. First
I thought the different textures are connected to seasons btw. month. like afternoon_01 rendered in january.. 02 in february and so on. But after some experiments it appears
that they are just randomized in no particular order and not connected to any season or continent. Is this correct ?
Or is there some system behind that behaviour I did not yet discover ?

I have a further question regarding env. textures.
Wich lighting or effect is caused by the 5th pixel.
I could so far identify 1-4 and 32. (Are there maybe even more ?)I switch pixel 5
to eye cancer green but see no difference in fs !?
