Place the gauges into VC 3d view without making guesses,is there a sofware who can show me where am i setting this things like: gauge04=340indicator.cab  54,100,96,213..im aware that this are (horizontal ,vertical wide, high parameters)what i  would like to know if is a technique to see where im place it in,without to be guessing open, and reopen fs9 to see the position and being calculating of this G.is kinda tedious........WHY because i have downloaded some planes that its gauges make my system crash(bad made or with tecnical problem)and some others even doesn't came with it....Thanks

if you just want to replace gauges then the only program you need is notepad Wink

don't change the gauge position and size values, just replace the name of the gauge you want replaced and it should appear right where the old one was

there is software like that you spoke of, but i find that the best way to know the coordinates for a gauge is by using photoshop or paintshop pro...

dragging a selection box around the desired area of the panel texture should give you the coordinates you need... then just copy them to the panel.cfg file

this reduces a lot the guesswork 8)
