anyone else tried this addon? it's AMAZING
you can have your pilot career, buy and sell planes, make flights to earn money, screw up to lose some
you can hear the passengers boarding your aircraft and the crew announcements, you have to mind how satisfied your passengers are and serve them food and drinks to keep them happy
it gives purpose to the FS experience, now you're flying for a reason
it costs about 20 euro, but theres a fully working demo available for D/L (it limits you to takeoff only from KSFO, land anywhere)
i just tried my first flight with it, was surprised to see the passengers getting more and more scared on the takeoff run... seems i forgot to secure the cabin door
this addon integrates seamlessly with FS, you don't have to leave it running on the background because it places itself as a new drop-down menu when you press alt, so you can manage your career and flights without even having to pause the game
amazing really... you haven't played FS until you've played it with this

what i really liked is that the 737 Experience works perfectly with it...
which shows that you can use it with just about ANY aircraft...

I did an experiment with a fighter and it worked. Just no money to be made there. But good if you want a flight company that offers pleasure flights in them.

Yep. I too was surprised by it. Didnt think I would find it interesting, however, I have had it since my first flight with the demo, bought it because I wanted to fly out of other cities, and viola, I have found it to be a very customizable program well worth the expense. Plus Dan and his beta testers have proved to be great with customer satisfaction and tech support which to me can make or break a payware company and his dedication definitely makes it worthwhile.
I accidentally deleted my main company since it had a similar name to the first one I created that I didnt use, so I started over with a mill in the bank, bought a MAAM DC3 that was formerly a United Airlines aircraft that was rusting away in the US Virgin Islands for $465,000 which needed a bit of work, had a few problems with hitting birds and getting slapped with heavy repairs on my legs flying to its future home of Ketchikan AK...Now I have finally purchased an aging DC-6 that was once owned by SAS, with the money the DC-3 made me, and eventually will repaint it also with Polar Airlines, and home base as it is with the DC-3 is in Alaska.
The thing I love about FSP is it has given me an immersion factor that was needed in FS9 and to dust off some of the payware and freeware aircraft I have had in my hanger.

I can also say it has improved my flying immensley. No more hard landings or overspeeding to get somewhere quicker
And thats whats great about it, unlike before where sitting for hours on end just to land and park had little to gain from it especially in the heavies, now it does and it feels like your actually really benifiting from it. I am currently running an A321 round various places in the US and europe trying to save up for a DC10 i have.

200 hours
I must admit I was sceptical about it, but I tried the demo and loved it. It made me concentrate a lot more on my landings. They've improved quite a bit (well I think so).
Cheers,
Mark

LOL a lot of them are starting a long flight before I go to bed, landing when I wake up and starting another before I go into work, then 10 to 12 hours later I come home and land
Not all is my actual flying. I just like to sit at work imagining my little airplane in the sim working hard flying over some area with my invisible passengers, waiting for me to come home to land her. Every once in a while the plane crashes because I didnt have enough fuel on board, but hey such is the land of FSP.

Gotta love autopilot
EDIT: Im tired enough that I just quoted myself instead of editing the original message *smacks head*

Congrats Savas! I was wondering how you did it so quickly. ???
What did you do when you were a C2? I can't buy any a/c that can fly for 8 to 10 hours while I am asleep or at work.

there are some that you can squeeze an extra hour or two out of, but my first levels were done on weekends and late at night after I get a call at midnight and cant get back to sleep after I resolve the issue. Turn on the sim and fly around until I get sleepy again, turn on the autopilot and let the plane fly for 2 to 3 hours while I cat nap.

hi there looie.
if you hit ctrl+shift+v you will get a small window that gives you basic information such as seat belt sign, passenger satisfaction, etc.
Is it worth buying? Does the Pope live in the Vatican?
There are very few "must have" add-ons out there IMHO, and FS Passengers is one of them.

Sorry looie. I have no clue about repaints. Try doing a search in the aircraft repainting forum and see what that turns up.
