Here is a small series of a quick spin in the default cessna 172 around the Plymouth area.  What makes these shots payware is the VFR Scenery.

...
I depart!  Climbing to 4000 ft for the flight.

...
Climbing over the A38, near Saltram House.

...
Plymouth Sound is easily visible from here, with Smeaon's Tower and Drake Island.  Looks as good as my card will get me!

...
Flying Berry Headways, in other words, East.  About to turn 180 degrees (ish) and return home for a cup of coffee!

...
Flying over Lee Mill and Ivybridge, ready to turn for home...

...
I have visual with EGHD, now all i need to do is get onto final and land.

...
Descending...

...
Lined up on final, ready to land

...
Phew, a safe touchdown, which makes a change in my life!!!

...
There we have it, one guy living to fly again.
Thanks for looking at this people, I just wanted to show off my better than usual graphics, because usually they look much worse!!!

nice mate, just gonna say but VFR sucks as you dnt get differant textures for differant seasons, here is the real deal mate http://www.fscene.com/, you can get the entire globe in a new mesh with all seasons for 2000 euros, now you could cover the whole of england with VFR for that same price. but still nice shots

Well, you could always offer to pay getmapping to go and take all the pictures again from 5000 feet three more times (assuming the current photos were taken in summer) in spring, autumn and winter... Wink Grin

Nice shots....

FScene is crap,

the default is much better..

FScene is totaly unrealistic for europe, the asia package is 'quite' good.. but its still ' Undecided'

Thing is a really cant afford to go and buy all four seasons, i mean i really dont care whether or not it looks wintery because if i want to do a winter shot, I'll turn the scenery off!  I fly a lot of VFR and this package really aids it, especially when I am flying in my area as i know it fairly well, so it's all good to me.  My only complaint about my sim is the computer it's running on, another 512megs of ram and a 256 meg graphs card will sort me out!!
cheers
