This is seriously bad news.  My Battlefield 2 was working great except I couldn't get VOIP to work, but then I had to update because other people were having problems, so all the servers were updated.  So I go out of my way to make the patch work, and now I have memory leaks like crazy in Battlefield 2!  I gave up on that until the 1.03 patch comes out, and I fire up Half Life 2, and now I find out that had memory leaks too!  What's goin' on here!? Must be something with your system.

Neither bf2 nor half life 2 have memory leaks on my computer.

My way to fix EA games:
1-uninstall whole game
2-Delete the installation folder. Its still there. Installers never remove all traces.
3-Reinstall game. Then immediately patch it.
