What is the "plug-in"? I have gmax on my FS2002, but haven't a clue where it is or how to use it. I understand it can draw just about anything, but can I draw something that is basically a bunch of polygons stacked together? I am not too interested in making it smooth and swoopy ay this time; I just want to see it after 20 years of thinking about it.

20 Years?? Shocked Yes; I designed it on a napkin in Spring of 1985, long before CAD was cheap or available like it is today. I drew quick sketches of it with instruments but had no way to really draw it from all angles without spending eons on it. Now that CAD and gmax is available, I hope to finally be able to draw it and place it in the center of a sphere so that I can look at it from an infinite number of angles and perspectives.

So how do you fly a gmax airplane once you've drawn it? At what stage do you assign it performance values? Is it possible to assign a cruising speed of 250 mph and an ROC of 3000 fpm to a single-engine, low-wing design using a 65hp VW mill up front? These are extreme values and do not represent my airplane, but what I'm really asking is if gmax sets limits based on what you design with it? Thanks.

That is exactly what I am trying to find out.

I downloaded a demo called multi-res explaining how the game uses lesser detail on models the further they are from the viewer, to save on frame rates. In this demo they replaced the zero with a cube, giving it the Zero's abilities. I tried swapping my model with the zero and nothing worked. I can get the name to appear in the quick combat and free flight, but I can't see a preview in the window, although you can with the cube.

I would really like to get mine in the game, but can't seem to find out how to do so.
