Tired of seein' that insane new payware Cat doin' water landings all over forums, so I decided to grab a freeware one and make what I could of it! These repaints are of Mike Stone's original aircraft (with the nose turret blister) and of (I think it's) his smooth-nose version. And yes, you read it right: Spruce Moose! Inspired by the name of a plane in one of my favorite cartoons as a little kid!
Front views:
Rear (there's an odd gap in the back of the one with the gun)
Spray (tho i've changed this, will update screenie soon)
Whaddaya think?
As to the bare-metal textures that I used as a base, those were made by Heather Sherman, and I found em on AvSim. And if these belong in the screenshot forums, sry! Move em there, or I can do it!
AMD Athlon X2 4200+ dual-core- 2.2ghz per core

Purple? Eh, it's supposed to be blue, but the lighting gives it a slight violet tint, don't it?
And as to my sig, that was done in about an hour with Photoshop, yes. Can't remember which one I have. Was made with preview pics of the upcoming Final Fantasy 12, and was very fun to make! The plane was done with Photoshop, too, with a little help from FSRepaint to get the different parts lined up right.

Dun feel too bad, it's only the demo version of FSRepaint!
I can preview texture changes, but I can't save them. Once I see what the necessary steps are in FSR, I still gotta go back to Photoshop and make them permanent.

Speaking of Sproose Moose, it does look like one.
For some reason, that Cat reminds me of Bullwinkle.

Where could one get that program? Could someone please tell me? I just started repainting and I like doing it.
