I guess...maybe i should lay less on the work..but then again what else will i do...stay home..eat..watch tv and get bored.
Working keeps me out of bordem, but has a price to pay.
So, what do you think.."things can only get better..." is the statement!
Cheers.

The highlight of today for me was when i recieved a tip for £20..straight £20!
I couldn't believe it!

Cheers

James

Well i work in a restaurant in a Golf club...and i "remember" special small things like...a particular person likes mustard with something, and somebody preferes a knife and fork with their sandwhich, and i remember people's names.
Somebody was leaving and i happen to remember small things for them, which they liked because it made them feel in-particular...which happen to make them give me a farewell tip.
I guess people prefere the smalls things in life which make a big impression.
That kept me happy, until it got VERY busy!

I try my best!

LOL

Good man. Methinks you will go far. It helps when you have wealthy customers too. You wouldn't get 20 quid out of me. Shocked Grin

No they are not wealthy, they are tight old buggars which wouldn't leave more than 50p..REALLY...but this £20 was a fairwell as i made her feel welcome over the past couple of months.
Nice,

I always notice, the richer are the tightest when it comes to money!

LOL

Not easy to please some of those tony, snooty golf types- believe me; i know- I used to caddy. Ugh...Undecided  ("I'm sorry, sir, but if you'd occasionally hit one onto the fairway instead of into the woods, I'd do a better job of finding your balls for you...")
I will stiff a waiter or bartender in a heartbeat if I feel they're not trying, but somebody like you, I'll practically throw money at them, esp. if I plan on coming back. Keep it up, and soon your only beef will be that you're just too damn good to be working that job...
