I'm with you.....I finaly printed out some stuff on the LDS 767.....You are not really able to do anything as far as going anywhere without programing the FMC!
Arrgghh......
But man......You gotta love that 747!

HEY GUYS  I just got the new 747-400 PMDG.. I love it already............. but i need read FMC... WE need to figuure out how the easy way to use FMC..............   IF you have a 07:30 depature time to JFK you have to be in the seat by 07:00 or earlier to get the damn thing ready lol lol   not 07:28 on the general 747...........  Does the VC lights up during the night?   i only see the control panel lights up...

There is a switch on the overhead on the left hand side, about the 4th switch over from the left or so that you turn on to enlighten your cockpit Smiley

There is a general tutorial on basic FMC programming that I think was in their general forum posted by CaptainG or something like that on or around Aug 5th or 6th that I printed and used to get a hang of basic programming. Granted it says nothing about arrival procedures but at least I was flying a route Smiley

I think my heart skipped a couple beats when I saw that night cockpit shot. Lips Sealed Tongue

Right now I'm planning on getting the level-d 763, but this baby may be next on my list...
