USA Tour Hop #7  KCOD to KCUT

Tonight we flew the next leg of the ropund the USA tour.  It was a small group... Jared, Jeff, and myself.  Weather was nice but there was quite a bit of turbulence.  We all flew the default King Air 350.

The scenery went from some interesting mountains around Yellowstone... to really flat plains as we neared South Dakota.  Very few roads up there!

Shot below shows Jared just crossing over the highest point of the hills (at abnout 13,500) as the terrain dropped away to a long flat high prarie plain.  There was snow on the hillside this high and this far north.

...

Here are Jeff and me on the ground at Custer County Airport.  The three of us were probably less than .1 miles apart on the landing....... landed 1,2,3.  Illegal... but fun  Wink.

...

SO...... come join us next Saturday evening at 9PM Eastern for the next leg of the trip.

best,

.................john

Jeff,

FSGenesis mesh and landclass.  Makes a world of difference in the overall sim.  Not to mention a number of freeware airport environment upgrades and such.......and it has been so long that I forget which ones are installed  ???.

You should see the Yellowstone and Tetons area, the Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley.  Wink
