How they did that... lots of them available, usually when a machine was shot up they just dumped it (preferably on their own side of the line) and got a new factory fresh one (that usually was better in performance and armor)
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)
,
Tu-154 and Il-62
,
Tu-134
and
An-24RV

Nice shots and great scenery.
Hopefully as time goes by people will begin to recognize how much nore difficult it is to take shots that include scenery that is detailed and clear rather than simple air shots.
Especially when moving fast over complicated terrain tiles !!!!!
Not cropping shots shows the full set-up of the sim and challenges the artist to be careful and sure of their shots.
Getting up close and still keeping the terrain sharp and clear in the distance is the real challenge. Whan you're far away from the plane everything looks good. It's no big trick!!
I have never thought of this forum as a place to put only what's most popular but a place to show this art no matter what the plane or paint job. A good shot is a good shot whether you like the subject or not!!!
Dave has always been one of the best at all of this.
Oh and P.S. compression does not ruin shots and as Dave and others have shown over and over again. Even the most complicated shots can be reduced to fit easily with no loss at all!!!!
