I still can't figure out, after tons of pics and FS models, what should be so great about the Chipmunk. For me,it's simply ugly.

All those jets look the same to me. Unless it's got a big piston engine, I've no idea what it is Wink

Looking at it now it is quite obvious it’s a GR4 with that FLIR pod under the nose Roll Eyes. I blame it on posting after a long day. Wink

flir pods, forward facing RWR (bit near the top of the tail fin), and if your being really picky, the shape of the nose cone  Wink I did my work experiance at BAES Warton, on the hawk and tornado flight lines, the GR4 prototype was there, along with the F3s doing trials with Typhoon. Smiley

Just to confuse matters, that is an ADV (F2, F3) the item on the upper front of the fin, is not an RWR, but a camera, and is not a standard on RAF F3's  Wink
