those are some fantastic looking panels you found there James. Shocked I'm not one to fly the Jap planes, but I might have to start now!

Corsair Freak I hughly recommend you fly them all. That way you will know how each plane flew and what different tatics each side needed to use to be successful.

And last but not least its simply just fun. I"am been always surprise to find so many people willing to fly German planes but reluctant to fly our other advesiry the Japanese planes.

The German planes are fun but a bit harder to fly since they where a bit less pilot friendly.

The Japanese planes are among the easiest planes in World war two to fly. Their handling and flying chareteristics where very good for the most part.

What they really lacked was powerful engines.

By flying them you will be able to learn more about our enemies and better understand how to beat them.

I fly them all and I recommend you do the same.

Hi James,

I've flown most of 'em, except the betty, and I have most of Akemi's A/c... ya know, I just realized, there is just about a replacement to every stock plane...

/American\
B-24 Liberator - Krzystof Malinowski did a few B-24's
B-25 Mitchell
C-47 Dakota
F4F Wildcat - FDGV2 did some Donationware Wildcats
F4U-1A Corsair - Gramps Did an F4U-1A
F6F3 Hellcat
P-38F Lightning - David C. Copley did one
SBD Dauntless
TBD Devastator
TBF Avenger

/Japanese\
A6M2 Zero - Akemi
A6M5 Zero - Akemi
D3A1 Val - Akemi
G4M2 Betty
B5N2 Kate

We sure have come a long way since this game was released, and it's getting better everyday!  Smiley

Corsair Freak I agree with you that CFS2 is a great Combat Simulator. Its not the only good combat simulator in the market but its without a doubt one of them.

Only those that where not able to install the many improvements done by the community to this game can say that.
this is not to say the other simulators are not very good themself but that this simulator is as good on its own term.

Now Corsair have you flown the Italian planes. They are a dandy to fly. Its just a joy to flythem. They are very similar in performance to the Japanese planes. Try them out Corsair.

I encorage everyone who reads this post to do the same.

That way you can bee more objective in your evaluation of each plane.

All ask of you is for you to be open minded and not fall love for a particular Air force or plane in a way that will effect your objective opinion on a plane. They all had their weakness and strenghth. Thats one of things that makes this Simulator so facinating. No one airplane could domainate the skys just by showing up. It takes skill and proper tatics to be victorious in air combat. Please fly them all and enjoy them.
