hey all
Can someone please teach me how to loft or give me a tutorial???. I tried FsAlphas lofting tutorial, but dosnt work because I dont have a line to select, like it does at the start of the tutorial.

You have to MAKE the line and make your lofting sections before applying the loft.

I had faith in you... I knew you would come around to realize your dealing with people that can be your grandparents (be nice to us old fogeys!)

Do do a (very simple) loft:

Create a line - (Create Tab/Shapes button/ splines, select line) in the left view.  (Think of this as your fuselage's center line)

Create your cross section (Create Tab/Shapes button/ splines).  For example, create an ellipse, a rectangle and a circle.

Select Create Tab/Geometry button/ Compund objects selection,

Make you line the current part and click on the Loft button.

Click on "get shape" and click on the circle button

move the path spinner to, or type in, 50, click on the " get shape button"  and click on the rectangle ...

move the path spinner to, or type in, 100, click on the " get shape button"  and click on the ellipse...
