Hi all,

Been trying (without luck) to get the new enviro maps here at SimV (FS9 scenery page 57) but it wont let me  ???

I've tried 2 ways:

1, To click on the "Download now" link in the page that pops up

2, To right click and "Save Target As" that uses my downloand accelerator - this is how i normally do it

However when doing number 1 nothing happens and when doing number 2 it wont connect  Sad

To make sure it wasn't me i downloaded a plane from the CFS2 section using both methods and they both worked fine  ???

Thanks in advance

On the free access site - the majority of downloads including the one above have bandwidth limits - & download managers that make more than 2 connections to the file will not work.

You will have to either turn off d/l manager or get one where you can reduce the number of connections to a max of 2 - such as 'Getright' .

Thanks

It could also be a firewall thing - so look at that & make sure that 63.217.28.218 is OK'd if necessary .... (that's our FTP dowload server)  Smiley

ISP?

Try a tracert

Go to Start - Run - type 'tracert 63.217.28.218'

(If you don't have 'Start Run' go to the Command Prompt in Start - All Programs - Accessories - & type the same thing)

See where the block is .....
