Six cars, the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone need to get their heads out of their bottoms! I think a lot of lawyers are going to be caning Bonehead Bernie for this one!

For once mark it isnt Bernies fault. It is Michelin and only michelin. They could not put in a chicane the cars were not setup for it. Had it been done yesterday when they knew there was a problem then yes, they could have given the cars a practise this morning. But not 30 minutes before the race.
I personally think Ferrari had no choice but to go out and race, this is still a competition and they need the points. Jordan went out against what they said, so Minardi also went out. This will be one of the last times we will see an F1 GP at Indy though.

Yeah but as the man responsible for F1 who do you think is going to be getting lots of lawyer letters suing his bottom off? Afterall this is America land of Litigation, and frankly in the shoes of the American fans I'd want blood as well!

I certainly wont argue, hes going to get alot of flak for this, and he did try to do something, but the FIA who i will say now yes are partly at fault just for bringing in these new rules, need to look at a single tyre supplier. I certainly wouldnt blame a single fan for suing to get their money back. But it should be michelin who foot the bill. disgrace. Undecided

and even with absolutly no-one challenging them, the ferraris still almost take each other off. Kind of funny Rubens being told no radio, i would have loved to see the words at that point getting past the censors.

I love F1 but , this is a farce !

As per normal, the "Top Brass" that run a spectator sport, completely disregard said spectators to remain with their respective heads stuck up their proverbial arses !!!

Shambles Shambles Shambles !

Rant over!

Oooh I'm a happy bunny tonight !

In the end this will come down to lawsuits one way or another. Technically they dont have to give refunds because there was a race and 20 cars lined up on the parade lap, which is an official lap. However as a show of good faith and saving face it would be in the indianapolis motorspeed ways best interest to give out refunds or perhaps half the face value of a ticket cost back. I dont know when the F1 contract runs out in Indy but i doubt it'll be renewed again, it took 6 races to get these crowds upto a decent number, theres no way they will get that again.
