Which is more painful? Listening to "Call on Me" by Erick Prydz, or being burnt alive?

Burnt alive. The song just rushes through my ears without wreaking havoc.

Only heard it while consuming vast amounts of alcohol. Therefore have paid no attention what so ever to it so I would assume being burnt alive is worse. Especially if you've been drinking heavily as you'd go up like the Hindenburg. Shocked Grin

Basically, for those who have never heard it, the words "Call on Me" are the only lyrics, and are repeated about once every 5 seconds for the duration of the "song".  Sad

If I don't like a song, I just try to avoid listening to it.

I've listened to it 5 times, and I still hate it.

you are correct. Although, rap/hip-hop is almost as bad. after that would have to be a style of music that I lovingly refer to as "ass-rock". This is rock n' roll music made by bands like "three doors down" and "nickle back", commonly listened to by people who think that it makes them cool to put the radio release track on repeat in their CD player and drive around in their trans-am.

I prefer "Valerie" by Steve Winwood, much better than the pap they've created using samples of said Steve Winwood track.

Todays music knows not what creativity is, they just re-mix the back catalogue.

Talentless crap imo. Kiss

What!?!

Blasphemy!

Long live Johnny Cash!  Yeeeeh!

The Call on Me song ain't that bad.  It's not my taste, but I've heard a lot worse, especially from hip-hop and rock.  But I can see how it could get very repetitive very fast.  Most songs here are ruined by overplay on the radio.  The only exception is Dragosta Din Tei, which was ruined by that stupid fat arseclown lip synching to the song.  I actually liked the song before that. Angry

A good dance song is Da Rude's Sandstorm.  Infectious goofiness!

Hey now, The Man in Black is in a class by himself. Anyone heard his version of that Sound Garden song? He also covered a song whose name I cant remember, nor can I remember who did it originally, but Nine Inch Nails/Trent Reznor also covered it... if that helps. Anyway it was awsome.

As for the song in question, I'd probably rather hear without it than burn with it -- oh, that wasn't the choice, or was it ???

I was burned alive, so now I'm dead.  And here in Hell, all the radio stations play only Erick Prydz, Jessica Simpson, and dogs singing popular children's songs.  I miss being burned alive.  Although Seamus' rendition of "Ring Around the Rosie" gives me a pocket full of posie.

Yup, it was "Hurt."  Nine Inch Nails didn't cover though, Trent wrote that one.  Country is crap music, but as long as you stay out of middle/southern America where all the terrified sheep are, and racism still lives, you don't find much love for Country music.  Johnny Cash was the MAN, not because of his music but because of his solid steel cajounes, and defiance of conformity.

I used to have a small record (vinyl) with my mom singing a country song -- back when country music was considered "devil''s music" by many in New England. A while ago I found the only other rendition of it I've come across -- an old version of it in 'rock 'n' roll' ("devil's music" to older generations of the mid-west U.S.)Lips Sealed.
