There is a tool (I think it's on Snapfiles) that you can use to delete the branding in the System Properties box. For the program, do you want to totally delete it, or just get rid of it from the Start Menu?

Stratobat

Edit: Think I found the tool. I haven't tried it, so you use it at your own risk Wink

Might be a good idea to create a System Restore Point before playing around !!!!!

Well I didn't even had to use that tool. The oeminf.ini was in WIndows\System32 and that took care of the manufactured by Compaq.

Then I went to the registry and Deleted some entries and that took care of the Presario Info Center.

All for nothing though because once I replaced the motherboard with the new one I had to reinstall windows xp with another disk.

Thanks for the help anyways.
