well i have prob 50 pics of these guys. but i will cover the better shots over 2 topics and following one more of the hawk and fury that'll be it from cosford.

This is a return formation, been 40 years apparently

Nice one Craig. Like Bones says, it's not easy to get formations in frame like that.

thanks guys. I got very lucky on the cross over as you can see from the single red arrow, many ended up like that Embarrassed

I have lots like that too. Not helped by the shutter lag on my camera. I figured out the best place to catch them during crossovers is from right at the end of the crowd line. Not the best place for the rest of the display though.

I am lucky not to have the shutter lag, i cant imagine how tough these high speed shots are with a lag. I try to follow the one on the right and keep my left eye open and looking just to the left of the body and soon as i see the second flash through my left eye i just hold down the shutter release and hope one of the four shots it can get is successful, and go back and delete the missed ones. It takes some getting used to, but it might help with your delay doug.

I mostly have a friend next to me yelling "NOW" (but in Dutch)...but allas...I'm usually too late.
