A beautiful day for the Miles/Beagle reunion at Shoreham. Been looking forward to this for months. Only one problem, the wind was in the north meaning no shots of all those interesting visitors on the approach.
Knowing Shoreham as I do I kept an eye on the wind socks & sure enough after a couple of hours it went right round 180 degrees & stayed there.
I jumped in my car & got to the other side of the airfield just as they changed the runway. 8) Here's a selection of Miles & Beagle aircraft arriving over the fence.
Just caught the Beagle Basset, military version of the Beagle 206.

What's this then? The one & only Scottish Aviation Bullfinch - RG version of the Bulldog. (The Bulldog is the miltary version of the Beagle Pup.)
Ahhhh - the beautful Miles Hawk Speed Six racer. I missed the nice side on shot I wanted.
