Hello all! You've all been kept in the dark for too long, so now here it is!

What: US tour Hop 1!

When: June 11th 9pm -11pm EST

Where: StormTrooper (aka Jeff) has agreed to host the fs session as I will be absent you can find the session at the following address:

68.41.72.107

BenMK, (aka Ben, thepianoman, etc) will be hosting the skype session for the night. (www.skype.com)

Please download and install the software and either pm Ben, or post it here in this thread. At 9pm you will recieve a conference phone call from Ben to join the session! Wink

OK, your mission if you choose to accept it is to complete the following flight.

From:

Q99 (south county airport, San martin California)

to:

KLKV (Lake County, Lakeview Oregon)

The flight is 310 nautical miles and should take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes using the default Cessna 172SP skyhawk. Therefore I'm recommending a small prop plane that can maintain between 120-150 knots..Wink

As stated before you do not need to take part in the vocal portion of the flight, though it is highly recommended you do, and if you don't please try and takeoff last and stay in the back of the pack.

I apologize for not being able to join you all this week, but have some things that I need to accomplish first.

As always, have a safe and happy flight..Wink I hope to join you all for next weeks flight.. Wink

Skype is a free download, and has better quality than teamspeak...in addittion, it doesn't have the delay that Teamspeak has...

Hello alll!

First I would like to thank both Jeff for hosting the session and Ben for hosting the skype session. As it turned out I made it back home and was able to join in the first flight.

I also would like to take a minute to thank our resident homebuilt cockpit designer John for joining us one our first flight. It is always nice to see new faces.

Because of weather and time constraints we were able to complete only part of our first "planned" hop. We ended up going from San martin California (Q99) to Lincoln Regional Airport (KLHM) in Lincoln California for a total of 110 miles according to the Flight sim planner.

A map of where we have been already can be seen below:

As always, we hope to see you next week!
