I have never seen nor heard of this thing!
It is called a Gazpromavia Antonov AN-74TK-1000C.

Is it me or did the designers put the engines on the top of the wing instead of the bottom and a bit too close together   Tongue  Grin

Been around over 20 years - i've got pics of it at Farnborough in the mid 80s...

The other benefit of the enging position is it keeps the muck out of the airflow when operating off ill prepared surfaces...

I've seen that before also. And I could swear I've seen pictures of a similar aircraft that was amphibious. Anyone know what it might be?
