F1 paddle gear box. If your getting a pricey car thats the way to go. But not on a cheap car. It will break your neck. Grin
Nice choice of car Paul.

Finally picked her up yesterday (1'st) took the camera along to get a few shots of my old car for the memories......

Here it is, the old & the new..... Apologies for my daughter Shannon posing in the pictures!!!

...

...

...

I'm taking Shannon & the new car down to Taunton in Somerset to give it a good run, I'll take some further photo's later.

£75 to fill it up is enough to bring tears to my eyes !!!!  85 Litre fuel tank !!!!  Shocked

550 miles into ownership and I can honestly say my expectations have been exceeded by a margin I never expected, I really have gone up into a new league of travel !

My old e36 3 series was such a good car, I doubted I'd be so critical of it now, when I look back!

The 728 on the Motorway down to Somerset was fantastic, its as smooth & quiet @ 110MPH as it is @ 60MPH, even the 235/50/18 front & 255/45/18 rear tires don't intrude with road noise.

One slight gremlin, I had a weird grinding noise on full lock, when moving slowly, I was fearful I'd bought a dog!

The trouble was an ill fitting mudflap catching the tyre!  Roll Eyes Its firmly rivited in place now, problem solved!

34MPG was my motorway average !!! roughly, I reckon I'm getting 22 - 27mpg round town, not bad for a 2.8i 5 Speed Automatic near 2 ton barge!!!

Sorry I hav'nt posted any further pictures yet, Its been a busy week, yesterday me & Shannon went to Alton Towers http://www.alton-towers.co.uk/themepark/ the cars now absolutely filthy (alas, a downside of it being Black) I'll get the car washed & post some photo's this coming weekend.

As long as I can stop myself from going off elsewhere in it!!

No doubt , the novelty will wear off, for the time being, I'm a happy bunny for the first time in a very long time.  Smiley

Sorry about the over endulgent post btw!  Embarrassed Grin
