Alright..... Its hot out, its summer, and its michigan.... Now when I run SC4 the damned computer does 60C to 80C and then it slows down a lot.... is this temp related? I often crash Sim City 4 when the comp slows waaaaaaaay down..... I am replacing the heatsink and fan but would that be the solution? (Temps have to be fixed so I wont stop from buying Fan/heatsink) Cheers, thanks for any help! Gunny

I haven't had any experience of my PC slowing down, but if I hit my VCore up to 1.6 then I will touch 65'C in Prime95. Doesn't slow down though. As for the temps, all I can say is get a good cooler, and don't forget the paste! Good bit of Arctic Silver.

AMD Athlon 64's are way cooler that anything produced before, and have far better heat dissipation (just look at the size of the metal cover on top)

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here
