nice, let us know how it goes. any info on the car? look carefully for rust or any signs of body/frame damage

Yeah, one big area on those cars is around the front and back windows near the bottom corners especially.  Water tends to seap in there and get caught in those corners-so rust is VERY common there.  Also, check inside the fender-wells.  When overlooking the car, check for bubbles in the paint where rust has been painted over.

also insurance and where to get spares. remember these cars are not sold here usually so parts are rare even moreso as its a classic.

insurance and spares arent a prob, but the car wasnt as it was described......it sure looked good, until i started to poke around.......basically, badly repaired crash damage, paint blistering and a knackered gearbox.   all of this i could sort out, but the guy wouldnt drop to a reasonable price, so i walked..
nevermind, im off to see another one on saturday so we shall see... Smiley
