Hello all, I would like to create a custom panel for the Realair/default Cessna 172. The only problem is that I cant seem to get the X/Y locations right. what I did to start was to simply paste screenshot images of the guages onto a copy of the panel background untill I had everything positioned where I wanted, then I used Irfanview to get the X/Y locations of the center of each guage and entered it into the apporiate line in the panel .cfg. I know I entered everything correctly, because my guages did show up, but the were all over the place, and nowhere near where I wanted them. My conclusion is that the X/Y locationes I had were wrong. Now, my big question is: how do I find out the X/Y location of the spot that I want a guage to appear?

Hi
You can use cfgedit
http://www.cfgedit.com/
xml gauges will give you an error and wont show but there locations will via a purple box which you can move and resize to fit.Normal gau files will show no problems
You could if keen, buy the panel studio on the same site which will handle xml gauges
cheers

Awsome! thank you, I've been looking for something like this. One question, Does it work for FS2004? the site only mentions all of the sims up to FS2000.
