Well a while back Dave and I were discussing getting together for a beer or three, so I decided to fire up my Spit and head for New York, but that is a looooong way from Hungary and Spits aren't really long range fighters... nobody said it'd be easy
No auto-pilot, no speeding things up, no using pause and no slewing!
So at LHPP (Pécs Pogany) at 06.12.36 and ready for the off...
Over Germany and worried about rumours of a madman with a cabbage based anti-Spitfire weapon
Talk about landing on fumes, all tanks empty and the engine died just after I hit the tarmac at EBSP in Belgium. Landed at 09.14.37, so three hours 2 minutes and 1 second on the stick
More soon... right after I've been to Omags house and drunk all his beer 8)
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Nice one Mark - can't be real your Spit though - I was flying that one at Syerston today, along with my new toy, the finless GeeBee R1...
PS, whats the address for that really go Hungary scenery that you introduced me to Mark? Having changed PC I need to download it again...

That 3rd one is very impressive 8)

Nice Mark.
I will be waiting for your arrival.
Mark & I are going to coordinate things so that when he is off the coast of Long Island, I am going to meet up with him and give him an escort home to my airfield.
The cooler is packed and I await your arrival Mark!
