Grin I went up as a passenger in the decathlon that my flying club uses and we did some loops and rolls etc.  To put it bluntly, IT ROCKED!  Kind of ironic that I loved it, is the fact that I wont touch a roller coaster.  Grin  Anyone else here had aerobatic experience?

Did my first aerobatics with me at the controls aged 15 in an RAF Chipmunk trainer. I still feel happiest upside-down Grin

One hour of dual in a very nice new Zlin 242... barrel and aileron rolls, loops... no spins or hammerheads as the horizon was a little too hazy that day, but... woohoo!! That Zlin is not the world's most powerful or fast aerobatic bird, but I couldn't have cared less!! Grin Grin Grin
The only thing better than getting upside-down in a plane is getting upside-down in a plane... with your hand on the stick!!!

I tell you, I expected for the pilot to smoothly pull into the loop...nope! YANK! 4 g's for the most part.  I'm quite pleased at how I handled the g's actually.  Not to bad for someone that used to have a chronic fear of heights. Grin

Lol Grin Fun isn't it. Like Ozzy, by first experience of aerobatics was in the good old Chippie. The most interesting was a loop in the Jaguar - not much change from 12'000ft bottom to top!

It's addicting isn't it! I had my first taste of aerobatics when I was 11 in a Pitts and haven't stopped since, although I have down graded from a Pitts to a Yak 52 and Nanchang CJ-6. The only thing cooler is doing it with another plane three feet off your wing.

Dogfighting in an Alphajet and Hawk was quite fun. Thankfully we were only using 6G...
