I think I've shot my  Firefox!  Roll Eyes  Grin

Look at this screenshot of my desktop, look at the bar at the top of the Firefox windows, seems corrupted to me!
Any ideas how to fix without a re-install, or, is a re-install the best solution (I don't want to lose my favorites etc , which I've lost before when re-installing Firefox!)
Any help appreciated.

Paul.

0wn3d... Either someone nailed your firefox with a hack or you accidentally changed something.

Did you instal the security update?

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Never seen nothing like that, have you recently installed any new themes or extensions? That could be the cause if using a extension for a earlier version of FF.

It looks like its using one of the symbol fonts for the title bar text, instead of a normal font - could just be an extension or something, I've never heard of someone hacking just to do that  ???.

After a session on FS9, I noticed the sim struggling to load Fonts, telling me font X was'nt available, trying Font Y, this it did until it found a Font that was suitable.
Therefore, I think, I've lost some Fonts from XP - Lord knows how / why?

Next question, how do I re-install my fonts into XP? , assuming this is indeed my problem!

Thanks for the replys. Smiley

I just checked on the microsoft site and searched for 'fonts'. There were a number of results and I think you can download fonts from there. Hope that helps  Smiley.

Hi Paul...!

Jus open up Firefox, click Tools -> Options -> General -> Fonts & Colours.

From there, you can select which font you want to be displayed.

Cheers Paul... Cheesy... Grin... 8)...!

Tried that Rob, thanks for the reply btw, alas, it seems my Windows Fonts folder is nigh empty! - Where the heck they went, I don't know.....

Copying the font folder from my other pc over the network has cured the problem.

Now, I just need to know who thieved my Fonts! - I'm calling the Law!

Thanks for the help guys, appreciated. Smiley

Yeah. Two computers is always good, what goes missing from one, can usually be found in the other  Grin.
Glad you were able to solve it.
