Some of you know that I have posted some stuff about alienwares and me wanting one and sutch sort...
after analysing all my post I realized I was going to commit a mistake...

Trust me
Having the title alienware owner doesnt cost 3,000.

I was on my way to my local compusa...
Inside, in the gaming part, they have a lan party rig set up 8).

They had there an alienware and a normal pc (I wasnt alienware)...

I played with both (Half Life 2 Roll Eyes) And found out the normal one was mutch better... you could see it from the loading time.

Thanks to you guys I wouldnt of gone to compusa in the first place.

Many thanks.. Grin

Nice move Marick (yeah, I know its not Maverick Wink ). Good to see the combined efforts of SimV have saved you a bit of cash. I hope the new system performs as well as mine and how you wanted it to Grin.

Happy flying Mav! Grin

Good choice!

Alienware = overblown brandname = waste of money.

Just like buying a set of designer jeans that cost 3x more than a normal pair of route 66s.

Good boy, now hop on over to www.ibuypower.com and get yourself a new system. Trust me your gonna save over $400 buying there insted of buying from say dell, and your only spending about $100 more than what you would have if you built your own system.

Marick,

Now you have the daunting and intense job of getting a specification together.

If you find it's easy, then you haven't done enough research, it's very complex.

You'll need to decide on the chipset first, that should be a balance of performance, features and cost.
