Just about 1/2 hour ago we had some very interesting weather here in S. FL. Lots of rain is not unusual but the interesting part was the lighting and colour of the clouds.

The quality isn't the best I've taken but I was in a hurry Roll Eyes

BTW:

Equipment used: Nikon D70 W/18-70mm f3.5-4.5 kit lens.

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Interesting sky. Reminds me a lot of the storms that came up north to Durham over the summer. I wonder if that kind of sky would be possible with real weather enabled in fs Wink

shouldn't that be active sky looks like that considering active sky is just a program and that is the real deal Roll Eyes

Nice photos, was it humid at the time of those shots with a bit of wind? thats usually when i see those types of colors and sky.

Thanks Craig, it was humid and a bit windy, not to mention it was sunset. It had just rained really hard and was drizzling when I took the photographs. Thus why they aren't very clear.

Nice. The bottom one almost looks like a face is popping out.

We had some really weird looking clouds here the other day - this one big cumulus had really angular tops - like badly rendered fs (2-d) clouds.

Is that possible?! Badly rendered FS clouds look like gray squares... Grin
