Search for terrain or Photorealistic or Photo-Realistic

Dont think SimV has a selection of VFR textures though.
Avsim does

Airbus_eurofighter,

Here's the SimV mesh pages.......

http://www.simviation.com/members/fsdterrainsrtm.htm

Unless you have wideband...... it'll take a long time to download stuff  Wink.

Enjoy.

Oops... sorry.  I forget about the fact that when I am looking at a page... the URL is different  Wink.

I'll check into it...... if someone else does not get to it first.  But just go to the "Downloads" page (look on the left side of your screen) ... the "Terrain Mesh" pages are listed there.

OR...... maybe spend the cost of a single payware plane to support SimV.  It costs Pete a lot to offer all this stuff.

best,

..................john

As commoner has said... the "world" is broken up into small "tiles".  You can download one... or all.  Your choice.  Mesh files are BIG...... if you don't have broadband plan on starting a download and going to bed.

Get the map key first... it allows you to figure out which file covers what part of the world.

best,

.............john
