I seemed to have had a few problems with the camera. However, despite the hit and miss results, I did get SOME decent shots...

No comments are really necessary, except that the museum thinks there are only 2 Stukas left in the world... Roll Eyes

yes the aircraft were fun and all ( i personally still dig the 727) but did you see the new train layout? ISNT IT AWESOME!!!!!

I think the fairings must have been lost before aquisition or simply removed by the museum for some reason... Looks kind of funky without them...

a) Must be one of the later Stukas, which often had no strut coverings.

I tell them about that every time I go in there, but no one listens. I remember seeing these planes hanging there from when I was a kid. I must have been about 6 years old or so...

As shown in the photographs, many times the spats were removed as in muddy fields (as in the Eastern Front) they tended to catch and clog up with mud.

Also, to the dismay of some Stuka fans, the siren was removed from the later models....

I wouldn't mind owning a Stuka, it would be a fine GA plane Grin
