So the site will go off air for about 5 minutes ....

5 minutes ........
Make that 4 hours - apologies!
1 letter mistype in a cfg file cause a major failure & took ages to find out what it was .............
Another lesson learned - some things in computers can be kicked with little or no effect - others - a touch of a feather can cause disaster ........ in other words ........ I don't know actually .......

Just glad to see its back. It has been said the the problem with computers is that they do what tell them, EXACTLY what you tell them.

Yes, always. A computer will ALWAYS do precisely what you tell it to. It may not be what you WANT it to do (see Pete's example), but it will always do what it's told, unless there's an error.
This is the main fault with computers. There's no "common sense".

6:10AM (Eastern) - that's about three minutes before I booted up my PC this morning ... no SimV woke me up faster than the coffee I was brewing at the time!

Mine can't be a computer then. Cause it frequently closes down the internet without me even hinting at it doing so. And every now and then it reboots its self. One second it will be running fine then the screen will go blank and then it will start up. Again, without me even hinting that it should.
